Meet the great man of God who also won a Grammy award


T D Jakes
Thomas Dexter “T. D.” Jakes, Sr. (born June 9, 1957) is a pastor, author and filmmaker. He is the bishop of The Potter’s House, a Nondenominational American megachurch.
T. D. Jakes’ church services and evangelistic sermons are broadcast on The Potter’s Touch, which airs on world’s media ouftit.
He also has his own television show on the Oprah Winfrey Network called T.D. Jakes , and The Miracle Channel in Canada. Other aspects of Jakes’ ministry include an annual revival called “MegaFest” that draws more than 300,000 people, an annual women’s conference called “Woman Thou Art Loosed”, and gospel music recordings.
Bishop Jakes is one of the more acceptable pastors in this world.
In his humanitarian shuttle, he accompanied President Bush (during the Hurricane Katrina aftermath) and Obama (leading a morning church service in 2009), who have both commented on his good intentions and actions. President Bush described Jakes as “a kind of man who puts faith into action.”
He’s a writer, a publisher, singer a great speaker and a motivator and one of the richest men of God in the world.
While he does make an impressive salary as a pastor, most of his money comes from his sales of gospel music, books and numerous syndicated appearances.
His gospel music recordings made him to win a grammy award in the category of  Best Traditional Soul Gospel Album, in 2003, a song Woman Thou Art Loosed, (a Worship song with Various Artists including Bishop T.D. Jakes)
